Privacy Policy

Uniphy (“Uniphy,” “we,” “us”) is an iOS app that helps resellers create listings and publish them to connected marketplaces like Depop and eBay. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address and basic profile details through our sign-in provider, WorkOS.

Listing content. The photos, titles, descriptions, prices, sizes, conditions, and other details you add to your inventory and listings.

Marketplace connection data. When you connect a marketplace account (such as eBay or Depop), we receive secure access tokens that let Uniphy act on your behalf. We never see or store your marketplace passwords. We also import data needed to run your business in Uniphy: your listings, seller account settings (such as shipping policies and inventory locations), and order information — including buyer names and shipping addresses needed to fulfill sales.

Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never your payment card details.

Usage and device information. Basic technical information about how the app is used, which helps us fix problems and prevent abuse.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide the service — creating listings, publishing them to marketplaces you connect, syncing orders and sales, and keeping your inventory in sync — to generate listing details with AI (see below), to secure the service by preventing fraud and abuse, to manage subscriptions and provide support, and to comply with our legal obligations and our agreements with the marketplaces we integrate with.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

AI features

When you use AI listing autofill, the photos and text you provide are sent to third-party AI model providers through OpenRouter to generate listing details like titles, descriptions, and attributes. This content is processed only to provide the feature and is handled under those providers’ data policies. We do not use your content to train our own models.

Marketplace integrations

Uniphy connects to marketplaces through their official APIs, using their OAuth consent flows:

What we access. Only what is needed to list, sync, and fulfill on your behalf: inventory and listings, seller account settings, and orders.

What we send. The listing content you choose to publish is sent to the marketplace you publish it to, where it is governed by that marketplace’s own terms and privacy policy.

Revoking access. You can disconnect a marketplace in Uniphy at any time, or revoke Uniphy’s access from your marketplace account settings (for eBay, under “Third-party app access”; for Depop, in your connected-apps settings).

eBay account deletion. If you close your eBay account, eBay notifies us and we delete the personal data we received from eBay.

Depop disconnection. If you disconnect Depop or stop using Uniphy for Depop, we delete the Depop-derived data we hold about you.

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers that run Uniphy: Convex (application backend and database), Cloudflare (storage and delivery of your listing photos), WorkOS (sign-in and authentication), OpenRouter and its AI model providers (AI listing generation, as described above), Apple (subscription billing through the App Store), and the marketplaces you connect (the listing and fulfillment data you choose to send them).

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Uniphy and our users.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your personal information except where we are legally required to keep it. Marketplace-sourced data is deleted earlier when you disconnect that marketplace, as described above. To request deletion, contact us at the email below.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit. Marketplace access tokens are stored encrypted, and access to production systems is restricted. No service can guarantee perfect security, but we design Uniphy to hold only the data it needs.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. Contact us and we will honor these requests as required by law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children

Uniphy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the effective date, and notify you in the app when appropriate.
